Xander/Sarah Will Get Back Together But Should They?

And here we go again with Xander and Sarah Round… Er, we’ll get back to you on how many reunions we’re up to on Days of Our Lives. This time, we supposed we reluctantly have Konstantin to thank after his baby kidnapping scheme convinced the parents to stop fighting over Victoria and come together to raise her with love.

Once that happened, it opened the floodgates right back up to their own love, and now the two are sharing a heartwarming Horton family Christmas together. Yup, one of the kindest, most generous families ever in Salem are opening up their homes to a man who Victor used to use for all the foul deeds he didn’t want to dirty his own hands with!

When Paul Telfer and Linsey Godfrey talked with Soaps.com a little while back they did not hold back when it came to Xander. They got to talking about his various crimes, felonies and misdemeanors and how much Sarah and, well, everyone in town has forgiven him. And when Sarah hasn’t been ready to let him back in, it seems like everyone in her life jumps on her for not cutting him more slack!

And maybe they shouldn’t…

“Everybody gives Xander a bit too much slack,” Telfer laughed after talking about Bonnie’s kidnapping and Xander’s scheming with Gwen to keep it under wraps.

“They do!” Godfrey agreed. “And they give Sarah zero slack!”

“No slack!” Telfer chuckled. “You’re on such a tight leash. ‘Oh, no, Xander can be off leash. He can run around and poo all over the beach. We don’t care! He’s so cute!’”

In the storage room, Bonnie sits in a chair with an anguished look, and her arms behind her back. Xander crouches behind her. A sealed barrel sits in front of them.

Actually… he’s not wrong! Xander’s a cold-blooded killer, a smuggler, a kidnapper if we’d had to guess, he’s probably committed just about every crime out there at some point or another! But there’s just something so darn lovable about him, we get why the folks of Salem keep giving him pass after pass.

And now he gets to play dad to little Victoria with Sarah. But is that really the best idea?

“I worry about the men in their lives if they think Xander’s OK,” Telfer joked. “Like, ‘Oh, he’ll be a great dad from Zoom in prison!'”

“Calls the kid like once a week,” Godfrey laughed. “The bad advice to be given out.”

Bad advice, maybe, but if there’s one thing Xander knows how to do it’s get out of a tough spot even if half the time it’s on charm alone. What would be the first thing Xander would teach his kid?

Well, Telfer suggested, “When you’re smuggling diamonds…”

OK, it may not be the most honorable trade to teach Victoria, but she’s gotta make her money somewhere! Actually, no, she doesn’t. Because once Xander gets his half of Victor’s considerable fortune, we’re pretty sure Victoria won’t have to work a day more in her life than she wants to! But maybe Xander can at least teach her how to smuggle diamonds anyway. After all, everyone’s got to have a hobby!
